Description
BASIC FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS & FIRE EXTINGUISHER COURSE
Designed for: Any employee who under current legislation is required to be trained in Fire Safety.
Objectives: To provide staff with a basic practical knowledge and skills to understand fundamental hazards of fire, fire prevention and procedures.
Course Content:
• Fire safety legislation.
• Basics of combustion.
• Classes of fire.
• Fire extinguishers.
• Fire blankets.
• Fire extinguishers – practical session.
• Actions in the event of a fire.
• Fire safety auditing.
• Dealing with arson.
• General fire precautions.
• Course questionnaire, evaluation and close.
This course will include practical training in the use of fire extinguishers and a short multi-choice questionnaire.
Presentation is by Powerpoint and video with Live Fire practical session involving the use of Water and CO2 fire extinguishers (Foam is available on request) and a Fire Blanket.
Cost £300 for a single session or £400 for a double session in one day (£200 per session)
Duration depends on the number of delegates and level of interaction with instructor. Suggest 2 hours is allowed. Maximum 12 delegates.
On completion of the course a certificate will be awarded to successful staff. The participating Company are presented with a Corporate Certificate.
FIRE SAFETY - FIRE MARSHAL COURSE
Designed for: Those personnel who have been designated by their employer as Fire Marshals/Fire Wardens and under current legislation implement fire fighting measures within the company.
Objectives: To provide staff with the practical knowledge and skills to carry out their duties in the event of a fire.
Course Content:
• Fire safety legislation.
• Basics of combustion.
• Classes of fire.
• Fire extinguishers.
• Fire blankets.
• Fire extinguishers – practical session.
• Actions in the event of a fire.
• The role of the fire warden.
• Fire safety auditing.
• Dealing with arson.
• General fire precautions.
• Course questionnaire, evaluation and close.

MANUAL HANDLING
MANUAL HANDLING COURSE CONTENT
HALF DAY PRESENTATION
FEE £300 per session or £400 per day which includes or two sessions – London & South East (Kent – Hampshire)
Course deliver involves Power Point presentation, Video and Practical Sessions with one 20 minute break.
Duration depends on the number of delegates and level of interaction with instructor. Suggest 3 hours is allowed including one 20 minute mid course break. Maximum 12 delegates.
